Book Suggestions for Girls Ages 2 - 8

With libraries in our area still closed we are limited to the books on our bookshelf and also some great choices on a couple apps the girls have on their tablet. Truth be told, however, with distance-learning Liz is already spending at least three hours online Mon. - Fri. Plus nothing beats the authenticity of holding a physical book and turning the pages.
This week we took on the project of organizing their bookshelf and categorizing the books. I knew they had a lot of books but this list was pretty lengthy. Here’s a list of categories we came up with:
Good Night Love; Stories for Sweet Dreams
Girl Empowerment; Who Runs the World? Girls!
Biographies; People you Should Know
Self love; Love the Skin You’re in
Holidays; It's a Celebration!
Series we love
Adventures
Diversity; Above All else we are all Humans
Religious; Christian Faith
Non-Fiction Picks
Our favorites from Random House Publishing
Get to know your animals
The link below has the complete list of books under each category:

Reading is such an important habit to foster with your little ones. It is by far the best way to build vocabulary and improve communication skills. The girls and I read every night before bed and its something we all enjoy. Well, except when they use it as away to not go to bed :).
Let me know if you have any of these on your shelf. If you're looking for additional books to add to your kids' shelf, visit my affiliate page on Bookshop.org, I've put together a list of our favorite books. This is an online book store with the mission to financially support local, independent bookstores. Your order will contribute to an earnings pool that will be evenly distributed among independent book stores.
Happy Reading,
Tanesha
